Rochelle Locke

I’m Rochelle and I was raised in the suburbs of Halifax. Community came easy with close neighbors, friends and schools, but it did not have the charm and life of rural N.S.  After living in Halifax and towards the South Shore we knew we wanted to live where we played. Then by luck we stumbled upon Grand Desert and it just felt right. We moved out to the Eastern Shore in 2005 surrounded by the older generation of Chezzetcook and watched our family and neighborhood grow.

Now in 2018 my heart and soul live in Grand Desert with my husband and two kids and I plan to be there forever! I am excited to be part of the Lake & Shore Community Board to help with growth and commitment to our community with sports, recreation, cultural and social activities. With a background in sales, marketing and sponsorships I hope my skills and knowledge can add to this growth.

The more engagement the community has the more vibrant it becomes. Community involvement and support isn’t just important; it is essential to become a diverse and dynamic place to live and play.
